Een vrouwenhand en een paardentand zijn altijd in beweging.
De vrouwenhanden in dit beeldschone videootje over Estse breitradities zijn inderdaad altijd in beweging. Om stil van te worden….. zo mooi vind ik de beelden. Je voelt de verbondenheid met deze ijverige dames, ook al zijn ze uit een andere tijd, ander land en hebben ze andere beweegredenen om zo hard door te breien. Morgen over drie weken, op 7 juni gaan we weer naar ons inmiddels oh zo geliefde Estland; tien breivrienden uit Nederland en twee breivrienden uit Engeland (Gerard Allt van IKnit London en Eirwen de Knitwitch). Monika, we komen eraan….. ik kan niet wachten!

The woman’s hands in this incredible beautiful video about Estonian knitting traditions are moving all the time. I fell silent,…. that much I love the images. You can feel the connection with these industrious ladies, even though they are from a different period, far away country and had other reason to knit that quickly. Tomorrow it will be three weeks to go till 7 June when we go to our beloved Estonia again; tien Dutch knitting friends and two knitting friends from England (Gerard Allt from IKnit London and Eirwen the Knitwitch). Monika, here we come, I can’t wait!
